All Colorado and Wyoming public, private and home-schooled 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are invited to form teams and participate in the Optimist Brain Bowl!
The Competition Rules, Coaches Guide and other useful links in the column to the left will provide plenty of information on team formation and tournament play. Tournament specific information such as registration and driving directions can be found by following the links just under the site banner above or by clicking on the tournament dates listed below.
Registration per school is limited to nine teams total. Should the tournaments fill before the December 1 deadline teams will be accepted in the order in which paid registrations are received.
Three regional tournaments are held to accommodate all the teams that wish to compete. Teams must compete in the region in which they are assigned. Check the Optimist Brain Bowl School District Assignments to find which tournament your team will be assigned to compete.
The top six teams in each grade level from each regional tournament (54 teams total) will be invited to compete in the Optimist Brain Bowl Championship Tournament. Your team(s) must qualify to register for the Championship Tournament.
Coaches should print a copy of the rules and become familiar with the qualifications for teams moving on to the Championship Tournament. The Competition Rules have information on how teams are selected if there are ties.
